This Privacy Policy explains how Konvart collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use our website and SEO tools available at https://konvart.com. By using Konvart, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

To operate Konvart effectively, we use third-party providers for services such as secure hosting, analytics, customer support tools, payment processing and advertising. These providers may process information in line with their own privacy policies, but only as necessary to deliver their services to Konvart.

1.1. Information you provide. We collect information you voluntarily provide when you create an account, update your profile, contact support, make a purchase or use platform features. This may include:

• Name
• Email address
• Account settings and preferences
• Feedback, requests or support messages
• Uploaded data or content you choose to provide
• Project and Optimizer workspace data, such as website and business details you enter
• Billing and transaction details needed for paid plans (processed by our payment provider as described in Section 3)

1.2. Information collected automatically. When using Konvart, we automatically collect:

• IP address
• Browser type, version and settings
• Device and operating system information
• Time zone and language settings
• Pages visited and interactions on the site
• Access timestamps
• Referring URLs
• Cookie identifiers and behavioural data

This information helps us operate, secure and improve Konvart.

1.3. Information from third-party services. If you connect a third-party service to Konvart, we collect only the information you explicitly authorise. This includes integrations such as Google Sign In, Google Search Console and Google Analytics. Full details are in Section 4.

If you connect a website (WordPress plugin, or Shopify, Webflow or Wix), we use the connection only to confirm the site is linked and to draft, publish, or apply on-site changes you enable in Konvart. We do not use it for advertising. Retention and disconnection are described in Section 7.

If you connect an email account or SMTP settings for outreach, we store the connection details needed to send messages you authorise, and related send records (such as recipients, subject, body and delivery status for pitches you create or approve in Konvart). We use this only to provide outreach features you enable. Retention and disconnection are described in Section 7.

2.1. Purposes. We use information to provide, maintain and enhance Konvart. This includes:

• Creating and managing your account
• Authenticating your login
• Processing payments and managing subscriptions
• Analysing your website performance and search visibility
• Generating keyword opportunities and SEO insights
• Responding to support enquiries
• Preventing abuse and maintaining platform security
• Internal analytics and reporting
• Advertising and retargeting with your consent (see Cookie Policy)
• Operating Optimizer and related SEO features, including generating insights, drafts, and pitches
• Storing project work product and contact details needed for features you enable
• Running language-model assistance as described in Section 2.2
• Complying with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use your personal information or Google user data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

2.2. Use of language models (AI). Some Konvart features, including Optimizer chat, content drafting, pitch drafting and similar assistance, use language-model providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI.

We minimise what is sent for those generations. We do not send your brand name, outbound email credentials, mailbox contents, or outreach recipient email addresses to language-model providers. Recipient emails used for sending remain in Konvart (and, when you send, with your connected email provider).

Where a generation needs context, we may send limited task context (for example the type of business or page topic needed to write useful copy). We work with providers that offer strong privacy controls.

2.3. Legal bases for processing. Where European data protection law applies, we process personal data on one or more of the following bases:

• Contract: to provide Konvart, manage your account, process payments and deliver the features you request
• Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the service, prevent abuse, and understand how Konvart is used, where those interests are not overridden by your rights
• Consent: for optional cookies, marketing or advertising where required, and for optional integrations you choose to connect
• Legal obligation: where we must process data to comply with applicable law

Konvart shares personal information only as necessary to operate the platform. This includes:

• Hosting and infrastructure partners (including AWS in the EU)
• Payment processing through Paddle, which handles checkout, billing and related transaction data under its own privacy policy
• Analytics providers
• Customer support tools
• Email and notification platforms
• Language-model providers as described in Section 2.2
• Security and fraud prevention services
• Legal authorities where required by law
• Potential acquirers under confidentiality agreements

We do not share Google user data for advertising or unrelated purposes.

This section explains how Konvart interacts with Google APIs and complies with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Requirements. All Google permissions are optional and require your explicit OAuth consent.

4.1. What Google data we access.

Google Sign In. If you choose to sign in with Google, Konvart may access:

• Your name
• Email address
• Google account ID
• Profile image (if available)

We do not receive your Google password or authentication credentials.

Google Search Console API. If you connect your Search Console account, Konvart may access data for the properties you authorise, including:

• Verified property list
• Search performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, CTR and average position
• Query (keyword) level data
• Page and URL level performance data
• Device and country breakdowns
• Date based search performance data

Google Analytics API. If you connect your Google Analytics account, Konvart may access data for the properties you authorise, including:

• Accessible Google Analytics account and property list
• Traffic and engagement metrics (sessions, users, page views, engagement)
• Traffic source and channel data, including AI-assistant/referral traffic
• Conversion and event metrics
• Date-based performance data

We use this data exclusively to provide features you have enabled, such as performance reporting and SEO insights.

4.2. Why we request Google data. We request Google data exclusively to provide features you have chosen to enable, such as:

• Account authentication via Google Sign In
• SEO and performance insights
• Keyword opportunity discovery

We do not use Google data for advertising, profiling or AI model training.

4.3. How we store and protect Google data. Google data is protected using the security measures described in Section 6. Retention and disconnection of Google data are described in Section 7.

4.4. How we share Google user data. Konvart does not sell, rent or share Google user data with advertisers or unrelated third parties. The only sharing that may occur is with essential service providers (e.g. secure hosting or infrastructure providers) under strict confidentiality obligations.

4.5. Accurate representation and compliance. Konvart accurately represents who is requesting access, what data is requested, why it is needed, how it will be used, and how users can revoke access at any time.

5.1. Types of cookies we use.

• Strictly necessary cookies: required for login and essential features
• Functional cookies: remember preferences
• Analytics cookies: used by tools like Google Analytics
• Marketing cookies: used for retargeting via Google Ads and Meta Ads (with consent)

5.2. Advertising and retargeting. If you allow marketing cookies, Konvart may use anonymised identifiers for remarketing through third party networks. We do not share Search Console data or any authenticated Google data with advertisers.

5.3. Managing cookies. You may accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner or browser settings. You may also manage ad preferences directly in Google or Meta settings.

We use industry standard security measures including:

• Encrypted transmission (HTTPS)
• Secure cloud infrastructure
• Strict internal access controls
• Monitoring and logging
• Encrypted backups where applicable

While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to operate Konvart or meet legal obligations.

7.1. Site connections. If you disconnect a connected website, we revoke the connection immediately and invalidate stored credentials so they can no longer be used. A revoked connection record may remain until your account is deleted.

7.2. Email connections. If you disconnect an email or SMTP integration, we delete that integration immediately.

7.3. Google connections. We retain Google data only while you have an active Konvart account and continue to grant permission in your Google Account settings. If you disconnect Google Search Console or Google Analytics, or revoke access in your Google Account, Konvart stops receiving new data immediately, revokes its OAuth tokens with Google, and deletes the linked project connection and previously stored Google data from that connection right away. For Search Console, we also delete linked keyword-opportunity rows tied to that connection.

7.4. Optimizer and SEO workspace data. Chat history, drafts, prospects, pitches, audits and similar workspace data are retained while your account is active and needed to provide the service.

7.5. Account deletion. To delete your account entirely, email support@konvart.com. We action full account deletion requests within 30 days unless the law requires otherwise.

Konvart processes personal data in European Union data centres on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area on our behalf (for example certain language-model or support tools), we take steps designed to protect your data in line with applicable European data protection law, including appropriate contractual safeguards where required.

Depending on where you live and how you use Konvart, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or out-of-date personal data
• Request deletion of personal data we no longer need
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Receive personal data in a portable format where applicable
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your country or place of work

You can also revoke Google permissions at any time from your Google Account permissions page. To exercise these rights, contact legal@konvart.com. To delete your Konvart account entirely, email support@konvart.com as described in Section 7. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Konvart is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal data to us, contact legal@konvart.com and we will take steps to delete it.

Konvart may contain links to third party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

If changes affect how we use Google user data, we will request re-consent before accessing new data or using data for new purposes.
